Mom's 40th (cough cough 60th) Birthday is tomorrow 12/28/09

My Dad did a great job planning a surprise brunch with 13 of her close friends at the
Tustin Ranch Golf Course.

She did NOT want any "hoopla" for her birthday and started threatening getting on an airplane and leaving town when she thought we were up to something. But it turns out she was totally surprised and had a great time!

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2009

This Christmas was great!!

We opened presents and took the dogs for a walk. Then we went to Salt Creek Beach, just like the good 'ol days with the Maertz' and played football and played in the waves. That night we had dinner at the Maertz'.

It was really great....but we did miss Tyler!

THANKSGIVING 2009

Thanksgiving is always spent with the Farr, Maertz, Doble and Heckter families.

This year we had just over 30 people celebrating with us and as always it was a blast and continues to be my favorite holiday.
Unfortunately, this holiday Tyler wasn't able to come down to SoCal so he and Estelle stayed in Portland with The Stryker Family.

Friday after Thanksgiving we went down to Laguna Beach and spent a little time on Main Beach with the kids. It was Abry's first time in the Ocean and she loved it.

Moved to The Beach

Last weekend Jessica (co-worker/friend) and I moved in to this cute little house in Laguna Beach. Its 2 bedroom and 2 bath and has an incredible ocean view.

The place is almost put together. We still have a few boxes to unpack and things to organize. But all and all we are happy to be 1/2 a mile from work.

This is the Tale of a Traveling Pink Coyote

(I'm pretty sure there is only one person who will appreciate it!!)

Once upon a time a very good friend moved from Laguna Beach up to the Bay Area and gave me this pink Coyote...I thought it was silly and cute.

When I moved to Vancouver Washington, I took the Coyote with me

I then moved home and down to Laguna Beach (the first time) and took the coyote with me.
(I don't have a picture though)

This past weekend I moved back down to Laguna Beach (Round 2)
I took the Coyote with me.

I think she's a tad bit quirky.

She brightens my room and makes me think of
Annette and home.
I love her!! :)
