Girls Day at the Harbor

This past weekend Jen, Darcy, Carla and I all got together at
the Dana Point Harbor for lunch and a little walk.
Its always great to catch up with all the girls and the kiddos.

Dog Days of Summer

This past weekend was H-O-T and we all went swimming!!

We also wanted to make sure that Charlie was pool safe, but Griffin didn't want to be left out on the fun or the cool pool.

Adoption of Charlie

We've been searching the Golden Retriever rescue sites to get another dog. We've filled out many applications, we've had home visits, and we've applied for puppies! This past weekend we found a beautiful 2 year old male Golden and applied for him.
WE GOT HIM!!

His name is Charlie.

Ever wonder what its like to be a dog walker?? Like this...

Charlie came from a house with 2 other dogs, 2 cats and 4 kids under the age of 10.
So its pretty safe to say our house was a pretty mellow adjustment. It was Cassie & Griffin who needed to adjust to the newest family member. Cassie is still sitting back and watching, but as you can see in the video Griffin warmed up pretty fast!

Friday at the Harbor

I am very fortunate to have Fridays off during the month of July and while Jen is still on Maternity leave we decided to get out of the house and do something.

Neither of us had been to Dana Point Harbor in a while so we went there for lunch and a little walk. Too bad the June Gloom has carried into the month of July, but besides that it was fun!!
