Griffin - Part 2

Griffin has been with the Family for almost a month. He is sooo mellow, such a lap dog and a major cuddler, yet more often than not thinks he is a golden retriever. He chases the big dogs, pulls on Cassie's tail and wrestles with them as if he was 90lbs, not 10lbs.
He won't go any where with out Cassie and even Bogey is beginning to come around and tolerate him) :)
Since we rescued him at 4 months old, its been a little challenging trying to train him. Some days he totally gets it and will go outside or on the pads, other days he forgets everything, but we have hope.
I am worried that if & when I move out, he's not going to want to come with me. He is so attached to the big dogs and Mom is so attached to him.

Below are a few recent pics.

So this one day, Griffin went Missing and I found him inside my box spring.

I am constantly calling him "Farley" (my brothers dog) because Farley sleeps on his back, Farley would wrestle with Cassie, and Farley empties out all the toys in the toy box multiple times a day. SO DOES GRIFFIN. (This is Proof)

The Newest Addition

For sometime now, I've been talking about getting another dog. I wanted something small, something easy to put in the car, something that would be easy if and when I move out. We filled out an adoption form for a Dachshund and passed the test.
We got to pick him up on Thursday.

We named him Griffin. He is a 4 month old, 7 pound, long haired miniature Dachshund. He is super mello, he is gutsy and LOVES Bogey and Cassie and they are taking quite a liking to him as well.

After a walk to the park, he was carrying the leash

Portland to Sunriver

After visiting Tyler and Estelle, Mom and I got in the car and drove to Sunriver. It was a GREAT vacation. We swam, we rode bikes, we played bocce ball (and won), we played tennis for the first time in over 10 years (and won), had great dinners and of course visited Goodies. It brought back a lot of great memories and I hope to go back next summer.
