Cheering on the Irish in LA

Tyler and Estelle were very lucky to have been given USC vs. Notre Dame tickets from Estelle's sister Lela and her husband Colin as a wedding gift!

For many years we have heard about how they go to all the football games whether its in South Bend or LA and have a huge tailgate party!
Estelle and her Dad are Huge Notre Dame fans, while her sister Lela is a USC alum and her Mom is also a SC fan!! This year the game happened to be in LA and we thought we'd check out the legendary Diaz Family Tailgate party!! It also happened that Tyler and Jackie Maertz had tickets to the game as well... so they came and meet up with us also!!

It was a great afternoon and I was glad to spend time some more time with Tyler and Estelle before they head back to the P.N.W!!

He is the sole reason why I am a Notre Dame Fan... when he was still in school in South Bend, Indiana I was fortunate enough to go out and visit him and go to a Notre Dame v. Boston College football game...such a special memory. Thanks Ty!! :)

I am 110% NOT a USC fan. I cheer for whoever SC plays and this is part of the reason why!!
The are over bearing and obnoxious people and their colors are UGLY!!
YUCK!!

As we got off of the freeway in LA there were multiple people trying to sell private parking spots.....for $80!! While, I am a sports fan, I would NEVER in a million years pay $80 for a parking spot...I'd rather walk 5 miles in the snow & barefoot before I paid that!!
